I don't really the idea of it being on the windshield. Years ago had a GPS stolen from my truck. Why can't you mount it inside the front bumper?
Is your’s both interior and exterior rated ? - I just drove through a heavy downpour some devices would not like …I don't really the idea of it being on the windshield. Years ago had a GPS stolen from my truck. Why can't you mount it inside the front bumper?
Do they make those? The other though is attached it to the back window. I'd imagine it could still see out front. Or place it on the dash of all places. After all it is a dash cam.Is your’s both interior and exterior rated ? - I just drove through a heavy downpour some devices would not like …

As high up the windshield as you can. I don't think anyone is out there stealing dashcams. Never had a problem in 10 years of cameras using both the ROAV traditional camera format and the Viofo style wedge. Don't forget the rear window.
My truck has that same eye brow. What's that thing above the camera? This. It's how I mounted mine in the Tacoma, right below the matrix dots. Can't really see it from the outside.

Agree. We’ve had front and rear BlackVue’s mounted in Boston for 7 years so far. It’s next to the rear view so not obvious. There are integrated rear view mirror / dash cams available. As high up the windshield as you can. I don't think anyone is out there stealing dashcams.
