Yes if you regularly Open Track according to Ford Engineers. Not for street use. They stated it would be okay without it for only once or twice. This is one of the few times my car would get a thicker oil.
If you drag race and cool the engine for best performance 0W20 or 5W20 would be the oils of choice.
