I have a 2010 Grand Caravan with leather interior. They are a very light gray, almost white in color. I am having a terrible time keeping them clean. What leather cleaner works the best for this application? I am noticing some staining or discoloration from perhaps my leather belt, I am using the Blue Magic 2 step cleaner now and it just does not seem strong enough. Any suggestions? Would Lexol do the trick?

Lexol makes an excellent cleaner (I think it's in the blue bottle), followed by their brown bottled preservative.

If it's really dirty, the preservative won't deep clean the way the specifically formulated cleaner will.

Try a mixture of Woolite and water applied with a microfiber cloth.

And I think your seats are coated with polyurethane so it might be more practical to apply a vinyl protectant than a conditioner. A good one is Aerospace 303.

Keep in mind that the leather marks you see from belts, jackets, etc, can be permanent. The dye from the belt is being picked up by the leather fibers on the seat. You will need to clean them frequently if you want to minimize this effect, but there is almost nothing you can do to stop it.... short of not wearing a leather belt.

The best leather cleaner I've used lately is Leather Master. Mothers leather care products are really good, especially if you can find the individual products (not the all in one products). Zaino leather care products are awesome but mild. Not for serious cleaning but great for maintenance.

Yup. I found out the hard way last year when I bought a new microsuede jacket. It stained my arm rests and seat. I've tried a ton of different cleaners... none of them was able to clean it. Not buying light colored leather interior again.

This will definitely be my last car with light leather. I am sticking with black leather from here on out! Bought some Lexol today and it seemed to do a great job.

Remember, too, that you can clean the seats with a good general purpose cleaner or something like Tudd Stuff to get the dirt out and than use a leather conditioner. But, your leather (like previously mentioned) is clearcoated so the conditioners really don't do anything for you except give you a nice leather smell.

I clean my leather with Griot's Garage interior cleaner and then use his leather care products. But anything will work as well.

I just bought a $19.64 gallon of LEATHER CLEANER - PREMIUM CLEANER & PRE-CONDITIONER from Chemical Guys who make products for a lot of auto detailing product companies that are relabeled like Adams.

+1 on Leather Masters - really good stuff. Wasn't too impressed with Lexol when I tried it. Just ordered but haven't tried Leather Doctor stuff - seen some really impressive saves with it on stains on light seats.
