A vehicle transporter got dark oil/grease smudges on my tan leather interior. I have tried wipes, Lexol leather cleaner, etc., with no success. Any ideas of what I can use that won't harm the leather?

I had deep stains on white fiberglass, that were miraculously removed with a 1/1 solution of Dawn dish detergent and vinegar, but I am afraid to use that on leather. Had anyone tried using vinegar on leather and/or interior plastics?

Thanks in advance

google says to put talcum powder on it overnight.

Vehicle leather is usually sealed?

Steam cleaner and a leather brush with some APC.

Apply all purpose cleaner, scrub with brush, then agitate with steam. Start with the back of the seat to verify it wont harm the leather.

Castrol Superclean. It's basically like Easy Off oven cleaner without the foaming action.
Good luck finding talc nowadays. Everything has switched to cornstarch.

Appreciate the reply :), but for anyone reading this thread, Superclean is not suggested for leather. It's said to work great, however....
