I cannot imagine anyone wanting to eat a big corporation production hot dog. After watching this you may agree.

They've been a local staple in Western New York state but have become more popular with the rise of the Wegman's supermarket chain, I guess Publix carries them in the South as well. The video I posted on page 3 or 4 has a grilling Tuber (out of NJ I think) rate hotdogs and Sahlen's was second to Sabretts ahead of Nathan's or Hebrew. Sahlen's claims they are probably the oldest continuous meat packing facility in a single location and they tend to be pretty consistent for cold cuts and hams and the like as well...Has any one every tried this brand? I had someone recommend them to me, but I have yet try them. Looks like they HQ'd in Buffalo, NY.

They look good but the price per lb. Is steep. Natural casing hot dogs that I recently got at the supermarket were $4 per 12 Oz (lol we all can’t do math nor remember when a pound was the standard unit of measure). I do remember in college natural casing dogs were in the deli case where they slice cold cuts. Seems they are somehow taboo today and “skinless” is supposed to be good! The local hotdog place is Ted's, but really they need to have Weber's mustard to be enjoyed properly:

I got the smaller pack of these the other day. They're excellent...especially grilled.Picked up 2 packs @ $9.99 each, works out to $3.99/lb. Never had them but assume they will be good

I have. I went to high school for two years near the original in Newark NJ. The so-called Italian hot dog is way overrated, greasy...and just a weird combination for a hot dog.
Those roasted over a campfire. By far.I vote Hebrew National
