Best Grease for a Hinge Action Rifle?

I'm far from an expert on greases, but I tried using straight Amsoil synthetic heavy duty grease with moly on my Glock and it worked great. I would think that on a break-open gun you could use just about anything since the metal sliding isn't under extreme pressure.

I use Shooters Choice Synthetic grease on all my firearms where grease is used. It comes in a nice syringe which makes it easy to use. It has never let me down in over 20yrs of service. It works well in 100+ degree heat and still is viscious in 0 degree cold. I use it all my choke tubes and hinge pins on my O/U Shotguns. I think it costs about $6.00 and lasts a very long time. Good stuff.

Thanks for the replies, I think I'll stick with the white grease. I've had 2 other hinge actions, both shotguns, both old, both had to have the hinge pin replaced to tighten them back up. I was hope to avoid it as long as possible on this one having bought it new.
