Looking for floor mats for the wife's new Ford Escape. What's everyone buying these days? Have had weathertech in the past. Just wondering if there's anything better out there. Thanks

The name is silly, but 3D Maxpider Kagu mats are pretty decent if you want something different.

If those are not to your liking, the Husky X-Act Contour are an improvement over the original Husky mats (a bit softer material, less slip).

I like the 3D Maxpider Mats. Have them in all our vehicles now. Used to be a Weathertech only person but changed after the passenger side Weathertech in my 2012 Tundra would fall out when someone tried to get in.

Consider the Ford OEM rubber matts if they are available for your vehicle. I found a set for my Focus and they are high quality.
Obviously biased because of my work, but the Ford accessory mats are really nice IMHO. At one point we were a Weathertech dealer but I put a stop to that after we had multiple sets not fit properly on Super Dutys.

If they are available, the WeatherTech HP mats are some of the best. Unlike the regular weather tech -- which I find to be very hard and eventually curl, the Weathertech FloorLiner HP seems to be a more pliable/soft material that stays put, doesn't curl and is more flexible.

I have WeatherTech floor liners in the Sonata. They're ok, but I have to admit I was a bit disappointed. There is a button-like depression molded into the mat that's supposed to lay on the anchor in the floor in front the driver and passenger seats, and the fit is sloppy enough to let the mat move around a bit. The side walls on passenger-side liner seem, to have buckled so they no longer lay flat in those spots. They do their job of keeping water/mess from sloshing off of the mat and onto the carpet so I'm not completely unhappy, but from all of the advertising, I expected a bit more precision. The rear floor liner was a generic fit and I had to trim some spots to have it lay on the floor as intended.

The trunk liner is another story and I'm very happy with how that fits.

I like both the Weathertech and the Husky liners.
Mrs. Tdbo did not like the Weathertechs I have in the Accord as well because she found them slippery.
So when we bought the Pilot, I went with the Huskys.
We have been happy with them, and an added benefit was that they were considerably less expensive.

+1 on the OEM if they're the rubber "all-weather" mats. The weather techs floor liners were cheap, flimsy, and ugly.

Everyone has a different take on "best".

In terms of all-weather mat sets for my vehicles. I used to pay up for Weather Techs and Husky liners. I don't see the point in doing so anymore with all the import varieties for less than half the cost. Why? They're floor mats that we step all over and flood with wet messes. Oedro is great, so are all the no-name sets I've bought online. I try to keep it under ~$75 for two rows and ~$125 for 3 and I have yet to be disappointed.

i got a set of huskeys for my new equinox , after seeing how the fit and the quality . i coundnt recomend enough , id go with huskey 100%
