Rest in peace.
A little bit of a stretch I’d say. He served two terms in Congress but didn’t even qualify for a pension. His future came from things other than politics.
I do remember the Dukes reunion TV movie in the late 90s where he supposedly came back as a member of Congress.
RIP Cooter. That was a great TV show to be a part of
