LOL! Good point.

Who was the guy on BITOG that bought 4 new cars within 5 years and was crazy upside down in car payments ?

Lots of nice used cars under $8000

To be fair I only got rid of one car and that's because it was a lemon of great magnitude. Other that I kept every Saturn till they died and the dart I full and well planned on keeping for a long time it had a life time power train warranty I was going to make them hate me for it .

As the ram man which is what you did to your last car, you should get a used car that can be cheaply smashed up like a crown vic. It'd be safer and cheaper, why risk smashing up a new car again?

The two favorite cars in my garage are a basic sport coupe(ti) and a loaded to the gills sport coupe(2er). I love them both but I tend to drive the 2 Series much more frequently. I typically don't buy a heavily optioned car but the 2er was a CPO at an extremely attractive price; as a result I've come to really like a lot of the "unnecessary" features I hadn't had before. So if you want my advice, DO NOT buy a loaded car if you expect to go back to a more basic model in the future- you probably won't want to...

I wasn't talking about you, I was talking about the guy making videos of his cars he bought in a very short timeframe .

There are some used bargains out there. I paid $15,200 out the door one year ago for my 2015 Cruze 1LT (w/automatic trans, touch screen radio). It was a service loaner (on the Carfax it's listed as a rental, though) but it only had 2,500 miles on it. Basically a new car with 2 1/2 years of bumper to bumper warranty left.

If you are considering it, go rent one IMHO.

I had one as a rental before I enjoyed it. The dart has such a following though an awesome group to be in it's hard to move on from that
