Battery memory savers still needed?

Mine did not work on 5 different cars, so I don't see the point (BMW, GM, Lexus, Acura, Audi). If the power needs to be kept up hook up a clean power supply to the terminals (not a jump pack nor battery charger).

For Hondas, people don't use this site ? https://mygarage.honda.com/s/radio-nav-code It's been around for a couple decades. I had to use it for my old '99 Accord and it worked fine.

I did my mom's Acura and she didn't have the code. We used some website and now I had her tape the code to her owner's manual. Seems dumb if Honda still does that.

No idea why they have this setup. Not like factory head units are high-theft targets.

Which style tool did you have/use?

My jump packs time out quickly or have some auto battery life protection.

I haven't made up my mind but i'm definitely trying to plan ahead on hondas to say the least.

The few BMW's I've done was easy trunk replacements and coding didn't take much time/effort.
