I'm still running the FF which will be flushed out at 2,000 km's (1200 miles) give or take. With some of the normal break-in deposits still present inside, this is why I thought PP would be a good idea.

Your thoughts?


Your fine with PP run it recommended oil changes. This is a fine oil and will work well for you.
I understand your concern to get the ff out early for worry of wear metals. Generally ff is more robust for just the purpose of break in. If you want to drain early do it. You'll receive a lot of opinions here, be mindful and research and above all do what your comfortable with. If you decide you want to run a syn like pp for short intervals and it makes you feel better, more power to you.
