Bar none - baddest Mustang ever built

Like I said. I love the car but I wish that they would spend the extra money and have an IRS setup which would make the car handle a lot better than the live axle setup. When you spend that much money on a car you would hope that the technolgy would refect the price. The car may handle decent but a live axle will never handle as well as IRS.

I saw 5W50 on the oil fill cap around 1:14 in the video :^)

Nelson uses Electromotive for ECUs; it's all standalone and custom programmed. The fuel system is all built into the intake manifold; the fuel pressure regulators are machined into the fuel rail which is machined into the manifold!

You have to understand also when he builds a car, it's overly built to be reliable. As in be able to cruise in 115F heat with the A/C blasting and run at 180 F while making insane power.

I don't know, but I seem to recall watching live races where a DeKon Monza was beating the ever-living c*** out of a Porsche 935 in IMSA competition.
Must've been imagining that scenario, huh??

Here is a definition of live axle Live axle definition .I like the mustang but, for that money again, they could of used a more complex suspension setup that would make it handle better.

Where do you think all the horsepower comes from?

The newer GT500's with the all aluminum motor represent a significant improvement for the big dog Stang.

Not my cup of tea, way too many on the road. But a real nice Mustang for sure.

This thing is a tuner car. They're a dime a dozen also. Think it will depreciate much?

So, according to you (I cannot open the link), just because a solid axle has a full floater, multi-link, and a watts link, all adjustable, it is the same thing as an IRS, and is not a 'live' axle???

A limited production car that's actually from Shelby? No I don't.

Even stock GT500s have held on to their value hardcore (2007s are still fetching mid-30s), KRs even better, SSs even better.

Link works for me. Anyway I am done on the topic because I have my opinion and you have yours. You seem to have an answer on everything which in your mind is always right.
