I have a 2001 Toyota 4runner v6 3.4 and the Baldwin filter that is speced for my truck has a bypass valve set at 20psi. "B1405". The question I have is that the oem filter along with Fram and Wix all state that the filter they recommend for this engine has a bypass valve set at 8psi.I thought that this was weird so I called Baldwin and I was told that this is what Baldwin recomends for this application. Any idea why such a difference in the bypass valve settings?
