Baldwin/Hastings set the STANDARD in good filters. There's more fancy designs, more exotic media... The REAL Hastings balwin is a solid performer..... so much so that there are Knock Offs of them... Seriously.

The paper towel wrap trick works great to dry out the media for inception. Use that trick all the time.
