This oil filter and some Super Tech 10w30 was off a friends 2018 Ford Expedition with over 104k on odometer. Oil and filter in for 4,3xx miles. After seeing this he went with a Tough Guard and threw Baldwin he had in dumpster. Put Providence Syn from rural king in 10w30 flavor in sump too.

Iirc, this one at least the second Baldwin anecdote with a tear posted recently.

Baldwin used to be a very good name & product. I recently found a case of B7 filters about 15 years old and have been using them on my Suburban.

The oil from that Expedition looks nasty.

Nope. My cut open B31 filter look the same as this one and was on a Silverado for an Alaskan summer and around 4K miles as well. These are not good...

One of the local transit agencies used to use Baldwin on their buses. Now, they’ve been sticking with Fleetgard exclusively.
