This filter was on my porch when I came home yesterday. Note says 11’ Sonata, with Valvoline blend 5w20. 3,100’iles. Friends car. He said he put Travellers synthetic 10w30 in sump and a Prime Guard filter back on. Almost 198,500 on odometer. I’m gave him my 2 jugs of Travellers Synthetic 10w30 as he’s trying to get by like a lot of us. 😍

Good to see this VO-106 cut open. I bought a case of 12 for $2.49 apiece to use for shorter intervals on my Ridgeline and a friend's Frontier. Thanks for posting this.

Good American made filter!

Thanks for the C&P my friend! Looks good, my only gripe is the universal sizing they use. I’ve used VIOC over the years if I didn’t have time in a pinch. Or when we lived in an apartment years ago. Not a huge deal, bringing your own filter solves it and they usually give you money off the oil change by supplying your own.

Is that filter used in both 6607 and 7317 applications to save on shelf space? I bought a few and they seem to be a little longer than 6607 and a little shorter than 7317. I'm using them on a Mazda that calls for 6607 but wondering if I can use them on my nephews Honda that calls for 7317?

I wanted to point out that Adam's ( @53' Stude ) generosity always amazes me. He sent me (4) MP9688's for free. Wouldn't even let me pay the shipping. I got two cars through a year of oil changes due to his generosity. He makes the world a better place. Thanks Adam !

6607 and 7317 are interchange if physical room permits, so should work. Is there a Valvoline filter look-up tool? If so, what does it specify for the Honda in question?
