Good Morning BITOGERS. Off a friends base model 14’ Sonata that had Delo 10w30 SM rated oil in for about 3,300~ miles. Looks real good to me. Put another one of these he provided on with some Providence all fleet 10w30 SP rated oil. 34x,xxx on vehicle

Disclaimer: this is in fact a KIA/HYUNDAI OEM knockoff filter. Built like a tank. Premium Guards we used at work were same as this. Happy Sunday folks 🇨🇦🇺🇸🍻👍😍

That's a well made looking filter.
I know those 2.4 Hyundai/Kia engines spec 20wt. but do better on 30wt.
What I'm surprised about is running 10w30 rather than 5w30 in Pa. winter?

Looks good

It's not a knockoff. It is the actual OE filter reboxed. Mann is the OE supplier for this Hyundai/Kia filter, and the parent company of Wix. The Mann part number is W811/80.

Mann/Wix has been using a few different filters for this part number. Sometimes you get the Korean Mann, sometimes the regular Wix, and sometimes a Purolator design.

Not quite exactly. The OEM has 5 holes. This and the Mann W811/80 has 6. So it’s more likely that filter. The insides look almost identical.
