Good Evening again folks

the older lady/neighbor of mine got a 2019 Kia Forte base model with 20k~ on it. Had this filter and Napa Sun 5w30 for unknown miles. I could see thru oil while it was draining today. I put Harvest King 10w30 and a KIA/HYUNDAI OEM filter in and on. The pic of the can was blurry so I didn’t add that photo but filter was made June 2020 and “made in USA”

Me thinks that oil and filter were changed too early, but being unknown, you gotta' do what you gotta' do.

Filter looks great as usual.

As expected, looks fine. The one thing I noticed is stated manufacture date. Early 2019 this subforum the very similar to Hyun/Kia oem, M&H S Korea coo Wix/ Napa Gold 5/1334 started being posted. Seemed like some consolidation of manufacture topic application. Perhaps they are still running a US line for this application. Either way, both appear to be quality OFs.

Interesting it's US-made again and that it has round holes. Many new Wix part numbers have been cheapened and made like Purolators (slotted center tube, etc).

The Proselects were also Korean for some amount of time.

And as someone else said, they could be running more than one production line in more than one country.

Do you keep stats of how many types of filters you've cut open? Would be interesting to know what the filter popularity of the people you have helped are using.

This was my main filter choice when we owned our 2013 KIA Optima.
