Anyone know of the Backdoor way to get money into a Roth? Wife and I make enough to not directly qualify for a Roth... However, I have heard that one can fund a traditional IRA and the do a Roth diversion, effectively getting money into a Roth through a backdoor.
Since we wouldn't get the traditional IRA tax deduction (fund with pretax dollars), it is all taxed dollars, so hopefully it wouldnt get taxed double...
Anyone know of this?
