So, I did some early Christmas shopping with real dad today. Ordered him Baldwin oil filters for his Dakota, went to Rural King, got some MS5k 5w20 that’s $11.99 (no darn clue why 5w30 is $14.99)

He got some stuff he needed; I paid for it since I won’t see him til Christmas time. Next oil change the Camry will get the MS5k, doubt it will hurt anything as my owner manual says 0w20/5w20

It’s the same on Amazon. 5w30 is way more than the lighter weight oils. Someone’s trying to make us use 0-5w20 oils it seems.

Well, Providence brand oil (Rural Kings house brand) conventional in any grade s $11.99. Their synthetic in any grade is $13.99

I pulled my Jeep on a trailer, spare T-case, leaf spring, jack stands, and a whole bunch of extra junk across the country(including the Ike tunnel climb) to Moab with Napa 5W20 in the sump and nothing blew up. Still trucking along just fine. Just changed to M1 HM 5W20 before the cold hits and she's running smooth.
