Ok I have just read up on AutoRx and somewhat educated myself on it. Sounds to me that it is an outstanding product that is very well engineered. I have an 02 Mustang GT(4.6L), and I started using Amsoil in it at about 15K, I used the Amsoil motor flush prior to the Amsoil install. The oil in the engine(MC 5W-20) had about 4oo miles on it, I put a new cheap-o filter on it added the flush and followed the instructions. I was very surprised as to how dirty the 400 mile oil was when I drained it, it was black as night, no visable sludge though. I use the Engine Flush every other OC as I do use extended drain intervals with the Amsoil(which is appx every 30K). Would there be any advantage to running a AutoRx cycle(with conventional oil) as I imagine my engine is fairly clean with what I do?

Many AMSOIL Dealers use Auto-Rx to clean there clients engines prior to adding AMSOIL. By the way (if not dealing with sludge or sea leak issues) you can use Auto-Rx with Group 4 oil.
We don't believe in solvent technology any more than your internal engine seals work well with it.
Do an Auto-Rx Application than fill up with new AMSOIL if your engine does not perform better. I will send you back your money.

I would think that the quick flushes have helped the pan and oil passages out to some extent. But I don't think that quick flushes are much good at cleaning up ring packs, in particular.
Based on a relatively high performance V-8, coupled with 15K OCI's, I would suspect that some additional cleaning would be desireable, especially ring packs.

Now that is a real guarantee. You don't see many folks standing behind their product like this nowadays.

So at next OC put the AutoRx in with conventional oil for 3K, then rinse with conventional, then add the amsoil. Or can I just add AutoRx to the oil now (About 6K on it) run it for 3K more and then rinse with conventional? Oh BTW thanks for the quick reply!!!
if your experience is anything like mine, you won't be asking for a refund. frank's arx is first class. does what it states it will do. i'm in the clean phase now on three cars and have it in two auto transmission's.
Add Auto-Rx in your oil new (or current as long as you have 2500 miles of oil life left) drive 2500 miles. Drain and refill with a group 111 oil or plain non synthetic and start rinse mode (3000 miles) application is done.
I wouldn't run ANY oil to 30k without UOA.
If you practiced a more reasonable or UOA based OCI, and possibly with bypass filtration, you could skip all the flushes/cleaners .... and have a very long and happy engine life.
Don't fall prey to marketing departments.
