Auto-RX thick and sludgy??

I just cracked open a bottle of auto rx I bought about 18 months ago and poured about half of it in my Jeep. It was very thick and sludgy - thicker than ketchup. About half the bottle will barely come out.

It's not supposed to be like this is it? Did it go bad or something?? Should I dump my oil?

You should put it into hot water, or warm it in some way, then shake it up before pouring. I'd warm what you have left, then dump the rest in. You'll be just fine, the heat of the engine will take care of the rest.

Is it supposed to be that way though? It's been a while since I last used it but I don't remember it being that thick. It was at about 60 degrees out of the garage.

I can easily see it being like that at 60 degrees. I think its just the nature of the beast. I learned the "heat up trick" from the Auto Rx web site.

Do not microwave it, hot tap water will do the trick.
