Is there any benefit to running an Auto-RX treatment on a newer car (21,000 miles)?

The oil has been a mixture of Valvoline (dino) and now Mobil 1 (PureOne filter). I plan on moving to M1 w/ M1 filter (cheap at Walmart) and then possibly to Amsoil 2000 0w-30 with either Amsoil or PureOne filer, but have some regular SuperTech 5w-30 / SuperTech filter and enough Auto-RX for one treatment

Any benefit to an Auto-RX treatment at this stage? No audible or visible problems have been noticed.

The second question is I only have 6 ounces left. An oil change in my car is like 3.8 quarts. At 2 ounces per quart (for recommended Auto-RX amt), that is 8 ounces. Will I be severely disadvantaged in only 6 ounces?

What is the best carrier oil?

I would suggest with a lower dose rate to extend the service interval from 750miles to 1200 or so. Also from reports, a good dino oil such as Castrol GTX is best for Auto-RX to work with. Hopefully Frank will fill you in!
