Auto RX maintenance dose for extended OCI

I have oilguard bypass and amsoil ea filter in 2004 honda accord. I did auto rx txmt and now have 3 ounce maintenance dose in car. I have run up to 19 k oci with amsoil 0w30, and wonder if extended oil drains lessen maintenance dose effctiveness. Presently running motul 0w30 e-tech lite and plan to run up to 15k. Would be interested in feedback.

Good question, I wouldn't have a clue. You should be ok with those bypass filters. My guess would be it's less of an issue because they remove everything from the oil. I bet this would even stump Frank and Daryl as far as having actually tested ARX for 19k miles. How hard is it to pull your covers and did you have the bypass on right off the showrrom floor? Did you do a full ARX treatment first, before the maineance dose?

Auto-Rx is good for a 25K interval with the 3oz maintenance dose. This is according to threads that can be found on this topic, however there are not that many of them.

What most people forget is that sludge and carbon build up does return, thus the idea of the maintenance dosage, not enough to clean a dirty engine but enough to clean any additional sludge that may form after the cleaning process.

I am personally running 10k OCIs with the 3oz maintenance dose and I myself am curios too how well the 3oz program be beneficial to my engine. Too early to tell as I have only about 38k since I began the maintenance program.

I did the full auto rx treatment dose first. The bypass system has been on the car since 5500 miles, and now has about 64,000 on it. The bypass system is mounted by a magnet on the left front part under the engine hood. I have a special oil filter cap supplied by oilguard which returns oil to engine. The annoying thing is I add oil to dipstick in between oil drains.
