Here is a Auto Extra 618-51334 and 51348 filter.

618-51348 for mainly ford stuff in the fleet.

Below is 618-51334 for Hyundai/Kia. Note both filters made in China. Others like cartridges, 618-57502, 12055 and WIX 10332 and 57002 either Mexico or USA made

My Auto Extra 618-51348 oil filters were made in USA by WIX. They have been very good filters all of them. I paid $1.61 each at Rock Auto in a Masterpack of 12.

If around $3 maybe OEM is better? SK > PRC. Looks like Puro jobber version of OEM. Can't be that bad.

Honestly can't tell much about the working end (the element) of these AE filters. As they have been they are jobber tier filters, and have been made by Wix for AE in the US and some Mexico iirc. Baseplate design still looks to be a Wix-ish (outer ring/band) design. M&H calling the shots likely said moving production to save costs which on this tier filter would be not very surprising. Be curious to see what element design most looks like. My 'speculation' as they have been, still ok for ~5k mi. ocis.

In Canada the AE filters are distributed by and made for Uni-Select by Wix.
