ATP vs. Wix?

The last ATP I bought was for a 2010 Vibe. It was made in Taiwan (vs USA for the OEM Filtran). The stock filter might have been a bit sturdier, but there wasn't much difference. This filter wouldn't have fit issues with the pickup tube like 4L60/80 filters.

I chose ATP because I like their black fiber gasket better than the cork gasket that came with the Wix for my application.

Just curious, I have to get the same thing for the same tranny, was the gasket a rubber type or cork?

The ATP on Rock Auto for my Jeep looks to come with a rubber gasket.

I am assuming OP is buying this for his Chrysler van?

Also, with my Jeep at least, the Mopar gasket seems to be the best out there IMO. Metal core with composite shell and 2 rubber veins/ seals going around the filter. It's reusable too. Bought mine for $15 at the dealer. I would assume other Chrysler products have similar gaskets available.
