Can anyone tell me if there is any such thing as a database/guide/cute little genie dude in a jar that can tell me which fluids can be used in a vehicle. Even if it would just tell me Mercon LV or Dexron 6000 or something so I can make a decision without having to rely on the very highly educated young gentleman at the parts counter?

What is the application? If it is in the Ford family or Mazda my dealer does both lines and I do back counter.

Thanks Grain, this is along the lines of what I'm looking for. The perfect thing would be somthing where I can put in the vehicle info and get back the manufacture's spec so I can tell if Val or Mob has a product that will work without screwing up the works.
