At what age was your first child born?

Don't have more than 2 kids though, that's the #1 reason for poverty these days.
I think studies show happiness declines with the 3rd child, but don't let that stop you!

John Tyler's (born in 1790, inaugurated 1841) grandson died in 2020. His grandfather had a child before he was shot at 70, and his father IIRC in his 80's.

Off topic but it was kind of a thing in the late 1800s and early 1900s to legal marry a young woman if you were a civil war veteran so they could get your military pension. The last civil war pensioner died in 2020, she received a monthly check for $73 from the VA because her late husband fought with the Union army in 1864.

Momto2 and I were both 35 when #1 was born. Feels like is was just yesterday. He's 15 now and 6'3", an inch taller than me. I still can't get over that.

Twenety one (too young!) for #1 son who is 44. Twenty five for son #2 who is 40. Not planned , kind of strange... they are 4 years apart with birthdays 2 days apart both born on Memorial Day.

I was 33 and the Mrs. 37 with Kid 1.0 and 35/ 39 for Kid 2.0. They're currently 12 and 14.
Sometimes we're grateful that we were as old (read: mature) as we were and other times we wish we'd start sooner when we had more energy. As the kids become more and more adolescents we're starting to add a third wish: "Skipped the process altogether" :)

I'm nearly 43 never married no kids, just starting to see a 36 yr old co worker similarly never married, no kids.
At this point I don't really see kids happening.

Having said that, the way the universe works for me, the first time we do anything, she'll probably end up pregnant with twins.
