I don't consider myself to have children But I did have a son when I was 20. My then GF and I were both in college. Our son was adopted at birth through a Catholic adoption agency. We selected a married couple in their early 30's that couldn't have kids that were school teachers. One of the reasons we chose the teacher couple is because they were well traveled and promised to travel the world as he grew up.

HUH? Until age 1 year, most people will describe their kids as x MONTHS old, not 1 YEAR old. Some will even extend that out to their 2nd birthday saying, little Timmy is 22 months old.
