Asking for help from someone in the USA

You don't indicate where you live (province, proximity to the border etc.). I have lived in Alberta and BC and I use freight or port forwarders or US freight / post depots for these situations. They charge a nominal fee, which in my case, is generally made up for with companies that ship for free in the lower 48 etc.

Good points, I'm in Northern AB, about a 12hr drive from the boarder.

I would have rather used one of the shipping forwarding services rather than make this awkward thread but I can't even find a place that will let me buy the item and have it shipped within the US since I don't have a US shipping address.

USPS not so cheap to Canada anymore

PM a weight and address and I can get you a proper shipping estimate
PM inbound.

The reason I prefer USPS is UPS/Fedex will add on undisclosed fees at the time of delivery, usually very high fees.

How difficult is it to fabricate one of those?
I used foil when was changing oil filters on my daughter's Acura to route oil away from subframe etc.
Wouldn't be too bad I don't think. I'm just a sucker for having the "right tool for the job" and a tool addict.

Ok, so I lived in Calgary most of my life and the guy I used was this guy, he is excellent:

https://www.montanashipping.com/

But... he is a long way from you and he doesn't forward. Do you have any Southern AB friends willing to make the trip to Sweetgrass? Another tip is if you have friends in the same boat or they need items from Summit / JEGS etc. you can coordinate a single trip and pick up a bunch of stuff. I did this lots with my car pals. As I mentioned, vendors with free shipping to the lower 48 that frequently made the fees and trip worthwhile for a large enough order.

Regarding the US shipping address comment... that depot in Montana is the US shipping address so there should be no issue whatsoever on an American retailer shipping to Sweetgrass Montana. You address it to:

Your Name
c/o the address (either physical or PO, both are available - find out what your vendor wants)
Sweetgrass, MT
59484

He also has a location in Eureka, I frequently went there because I could also do some additional shopping / visiting / touring in Whitefish.

You are responsible for any duty and tax on your way back of course. I always just did a day trip so no duty / tax exemptions. No big deal to me anyway, if you need the parts... you need the parts.

Re: Pablo's post - if he is willing to be your forwarder that is a sweet offer.

shippsy gives you unique addresses in the US for the item to ship to:

Thanks,
@marc1 @tcp71 The issue isn't the shipping address its the billing address has to match my CC and they don't give a option for a non-US address entry.

Looking like our guy @Pablo is going to get this done for me so I should be good. Appreciate all the help guys!

I see, ok that is a different issue then. I have not run into that before. Yes the billing address always has to match but I have not been restricted on that data entry field before.
