I had another post about this vehicle that has made it's way to the second page- I was hoping you might run accross it and include a comment or 2 about my situation.

was hoping you could take a look at these picts and comment on how I should attack this problem with arx. I'm worried about loosening up too much grime all at once and clogging a filter or an oil galley. I ordered 6 bottles arx a few days ago, anxiously awaiting the arival. (going to be treating 2 cars)

I'm hesitant to go wiping stuff up with a rag- as I could inadvertantly knock a large chunk loose and down into a drain gallet or something- I'm hoping the arx can slowly clean it away without high risk. This engine has only 57k on it(2001 suzuki swift).. I just bought it 3.5k ago...previous owner neglect, big time.

will be doing before and after picts of valve trane and filters on both vehicles. I'm excited!

I am obviously not Frank. However, one of the advantage of Auto-rx is that it is slow and gentle cleaner. I would do an Auto-rx wash and rinse. Then, I would add Lube Control to some dino diesel and run that for 3,000 miles. After this, I would do another Auto-rx treatment. This is probably overkill.

Auto-Rx is going to liquify these "pieces" so nothing is going to stop up an oil galley-piston port or oil screen.Auto-Rx will also clean all the
oil lubricated metal. Please go back to www.auto-rx.com and read the FAQ and look over the different applications and pick the one you feel deals best with your situation. Print it out and "FOLLOW" the directions to the letter. Don't add any other chemistry to Auto-Rx until your completely done with application. Post your after photos.

ARX will fix this engine right up.

You'll get better milage and a quieter engine.

I have a good feeling you are right-

switching to Mobil 1 Extended Performance over the last 1000 miles has already made a noticably quieter engine.. (it's gotten progressivally quieter from day to day).

Fuel economy hasn't been recorded recently but I plan to have at least 2-3 tanks of economy recorded before begining the arx, from what my girlfriend says- she "feels" like she is filling up less often to do her same usual routine...

If EP has already made this much difference- I have no doubt that a really good cleaner could do leaps and bounds better.

Frank- I read the FAQ, and read the newspaper article linked at the end.

Your story is very touching, I'm happy to have supported your endeavor through a purchase. Thankyou for your hard work!

This is for sure a two application candidate. However I have seen alot worse top end that ARX performed wonders on. Read instructions carefully. And use simple dino in the rinse phases.
