I know I have already applied 3 coats with weather in the 50's. I don't know if I'll ever find out how durable this Wolfgang Deep Gloss paint sealant is! Looks like we have an ice storm coming in Chicago on Monday but Tuesday will be back in the 40's.

3 coats ?
Paint over something 10 times sure 10 coats /layers
Wax over something a thousand times - still one coat layer
Applying wax more than once at a time is still going to be one coat

Nope. I applied Nu Finish followed by Turtle Wax Ice spray wax to all my rides in late October/November. I probably would have waxed again by now but the rain won't stop here in WV.

I'd get one more in before the winter really kicks in if it wasn't raining everyday.

I use the Wolfgang sealant once a year after I clay bar my truck. This stuff is absolutely amazing!! Cannot say enough good things about it but it is pricey. My tacoma is garage kept but every time I wash it, it feels like I just waxed it.

Warm winter? Where? Not here! It was 7° F when I got up this morning to go to early church leadership meetings. The forecast is that we will have a high of 16° today.

Will I be waxing my car this week? No way! If the 10 day forecast is accurate at all, I won't even be washing my cars until the middle of the first week of January. That will be the first time we will have temperatures that get above freezing.

I usually give both my truck & car to my detailer every spring for a full inside & outside treatment after winter. If I have time I'll put another coat on myself in the fall, nobody touches my New Hog however! Lol

2 waxes per year on my car stored outside. Did the last one a few weeks ago. I don't use anything but generic/cheaper waxes. 13 years old and it still gets compliments on the finish. My previous DD went 8 years with hardly any waxing. And surprisingly, no corrosion or paint loss/peeling occurred, though the finish was slightly dull. It got washed frequently though.

You are experiencing colder temps than we are here (51 N Lat, in the historically coldest province in Canada); it has not got anywhere near as cold as normal and 2015 is going to end before it does, if it does. Coldest overnight this year was +4F, and we have had many days at or above 40F for daytime highs.

Warm winter? Where ? Not in So Cal

As of 10:00 AM today the temperature is only 56F, too cold to get out of the warm house to do anything.

Waiting for a break from the old snap, when temperature is back to mid-high 70F I will do a wash and apply some Eagle Wax-As-You-Dry, below 70F no car wash for me.

Last time I did a full wax was more than 7-8 years ago.

Just waxed the 2013 Beetle, not to protect it from the snow/ice/salt but to protect the paint from the sun, even in winter!

Like to use a sealant throughout the year and anytime i wash my truck use a spray wax as i dry it.....Im bucket washing my truck in Dec in the northeast, lol. So my answer is yes!

"Are you waxing more now, but enjoying it less?"
(-- Paraphrase of an old cigarette TV ad from the Sixties)

You lucky people with something more than two seasons (here, it's January and Summer)! It only got cooler than 78 F. after Christmas, and 78 here is humid, nasty, and draining. Washing the car and dolling up the tires was all I could manage, almost as bad as the summer (when the low is often 80 F.). Then since Christmas it's been raining nearly every day.

Maybe tomorrow, Saturday, it'll be dry and cool enough for me to wash and make a start at claying and waxing. I used to do it twice a year, November and March, but the dreaded summer has been ending later and starting earlier. Maybe I'm going to have to take a leaf from Risupercrewman's book and bring the car to be detailed at some point during the heat.

Two words....spray wax... ur car will look great yr round without the added time...Doesnt get much easier

Have a garage so I wax monthly, don't look at it as a chore, more of a time to relax and unwind, love a clean and shiny car
