My parents didn't let me drink soda pop during that time - although I did sneak a yoohoo once in a while.Those remind me of folks having to open beer cans with an opener. No pop tops back then.
Maybe someone can help remember the soda pop situation? Dont ever recall opening a can of soda with an opener. I wonder now is it because , there was a time when all the soda machines had the hard bottles and an opener on the door. My memory fails me but is it possible sodas were not in cans until the pop tops came out?
