Are you OLD.

I think the cigarette machine is not as old as the rest of the items in the series. Cigarettes on that machine are $7.25 a packet and the machine has a dollar bill acceptor. I am not a smoker, but I don't think $7.25 for a pack of cigarettes is accurate for the suggested era of time.

Think we paid about a dollar to 1.25 a pack

All of them. Parents had all the wood paneling, flowered furniture, 700 lb. television, and sculpted carpet in the "formal living room". Grew up eating goulash, and there's some in my fridge right now left over from Sunday night. The doors on our '72 Monte Carlo would make that one seem lightweight. Bartles and James Berry was THE best. Such a great oldster memory collage.

I used to WORK on cigarette machines, up until 1994-the dollar bill acceptor boxes were just starting to be rolled out then. We used to put switches behind the bar (or counter) to shut down the machine so underage people couldn’t buy cigs. They’re all gone now, and the vending company (I worked for back then) sent them all to the scrapyard.

Well I’m not old though sometimes it feels like I am lol. I’d say about 75% for me. Young as a person, old at heart lol. We still have a place here with a cigarette vending machine. I’ve been in many places with walls like that lol. And pretty much everything I could relate too except the toys. I know what the cap gun is. That’s every boys favorite toy haha. Unfortunately I’ve had the food they pictured and can relate to many more. And yes I remember my first burn from a cigarette lighter lol 😂 I can still feel that in my thumb when I think about it. Yes I know what film is. Fortunately never been hit with one of those doors lol. No haven’t watched TV on one of those tv. Yes I have had salad in those bowls and had something made in a dish like what they show. Never had fruit punch in a can lol. Whatever I missed I’ve probably seen before.
