Are there any US made windshield wipers anymore

Before the pandemic, I remember a couple companies having a few windshield wipers product lines that were USA made including Goodyear/Saver, Trico. After looking, getting harder to find the good year/saver wipers and that Goodyear might have contracted out with someone else as Menards has them but they're made in China. I haven't seen the specific line from trico that was made in the US. Is US made wipers a thing of the past?

Trico Ultra/Titan/Maxx is still US-made (it goes by different names depending on what store you buy them from). They are also available online, including from Rock Auto.

If you have more than one car, and you buy your wipers from Rock Auto, buy all the wipers at the same time due to Rock Auto's shipping for wipers costing the same no matter how many you buy.

It seems that OWI (Peak) now has the license to make Goodyear wipers :sneaky:

Got it, thank you I appreciate you sharing that with me. Do you know if saver completely is gone now? I asked because I really liked the standard ones. They did a great job on my 200. The ones I have on there are a few years old and they still do a great job.

May not help the thread starter, but when I had a 21' Corolla Hybrid, I bought wiper refills at the dealer cheaper than buying new aftermarket blades elsewhere. So if you have a Toyota and the factory blades are on the car that's the old school option.

I didn't need to remove the wiper blades on my Corolla to replace the refills, I think the Car Care Nut removed the blades to help explain the procedure.

I appreciate you sharing that. I really enjoy the car care nut. He provides lots of useful information. We will see what I do. I will probably try the tricos partly because I want to feel like I'm helping to contribute to our own economy. They don't cost that much And I was happy with my trico's on my Taurus before it was destroyed.

Yeah their website is not very good. They have no way to buy their product. They have information but they don't have the clear link to buy anything.
