Are Optima Batteries Worth It ??

I think my 2018 Toyota Camry takes an H6. And it's coming up on new battery time shortly. But it's a flooded lead acid, not an AGM. Odyssey only makes AGM.

The top-tier enersys-made agm sold at batteries+ is also excellent, and I believe comes in an h6. i bought a gp 24 not too long ago. It was super heavy for a 24. I don’t recall the branding stuck on it, but I believe odyssey and enersys are the same.

I never thought OPTIMA were that good but they had 5 year warranty, I replaced lots under that warranty

Nothing wrong with flooded just make sure it's vented if inside vehicle or trunk, probably installed 500 or so over 7 years

There's 25 points in that battery if you can find someone that will work with you. I have a great battery guy.

I get much more than twice the life for less than double the price and have to do half the work swapping batts.

Plus increased safety margins during emergencies. I am willing to pay double for that.

Sorry wasn't sure of location, general rule HEAT ruins batteries but they fail in the cold when CCA really required
