Project:

Brand new heads + stroker kit (pistons-rods-crank-main bearings)

My guess is that the oversize pistons would also require full engine tear-down and honing and boring.

Another question, are machined engine blocks more prone to dimensional warpage versus new ones? I ask this based my observation of brake rotors.

Parts aside how much would the total labor be about?

Outrun,

What engine, what car? stroker kit usually adds 2k or more to cost of rebuild. As to the other, it is highly variable.

On the warpage, used blocks on one hand tend to be more stable because of having gone through many heating/cooling cycles, but one then become more flimsy when material is removed from the cylinders for larger pistons.
