Anything to consider if the Tundra is used less and parked outside?

Should you be reapplying the undercoating annually?

I'm not sure what best practices are for them.
No idea, but I was just under the truck yesterday changing the oil and the rust is really minimal so I'm not going to worry about it at this point.
 
Get the traps out, put them in the freezer when you catch them and if you get enough you can do something like this.

I laughed way to hard at these pictures.

I second the Fliud Film and would use a good Hybrid Ceramic coating at a minimum, reapplied every 6 months.

When our trusty, rust free Chrysler Voyager van got kicked outside it was only 2 years before I started seeing rust. It sat those 2 winters without salt exposure at all during that time, waiting for our first kid to get his license. I think being outside accelerated the rust. Fluid Film would decrease that acceleration if also applied inside the rockers, cab corners and fenders.
