I bought 6 quarts of this for my son’s Jetta. Anyone else using this? A search didn’t find a single hit here…
They do have some oils listed as using rerefined oil, but not this line… meets specs for VW and other European manufacturers. It's not in the API directory.

They use "crystal clear" base stocks (recycled motor oil)
It's not on the current(08/08/2024) Mercedes Approval list for 229.3 or 229.5 either. It's not in the API directory.
That's reassuring?? In the Army I saw plenty of motors blow up, or catch on fire.Doesn't this company supply the military in some capacity?
So what. My work uses Safety Kleen oil and it’s rerefined motor oil. It's not in the API directory.

That statement is next to meaningless. They do have some oils listed as using rerefined oil, but not this line… meets specs for VW and other European manufacturers.
And does it have an API license? So what. My work uses Safety Kleen oil and its rerefined motor oil.
Yes, I did use it as planned. I have zero concerns about using this oil in this application. It’s not rerefined as some have seemingly suggested. The company does have a line of rerefined oils , but this is not one of them…Dude used it according to his post in the recent oil change thread… full ahead, aye.
After every substantive post in the thread advises not to do so.Yes, I did use it as planned. I have zero concerns about using this oil in this application. It’s not rerefined as some have seemingly suggested. The company does have a line of rerefined oils , but this is not one of them…
When I poured it into the engine,
It looked like oil…
It smelled like oil…
I probably should have tasted it too…
Perhaps I’ll do an oil analysis at the end of the oci next year.
Safety Kleen does yes. Search here and you shall se my PDS I shared from their site. And does it have an API license?
