Anyone using JTP oils?

On the back of the container, it lists MB Approval 229.3, 229.5. I highly doubt that's false advertising. The oil is so new that it has not been placed on that list you posted yet, but I believe it's legitimate. I'll likely use it myself.

You don’t need it to appear in the list to know whether it is an actual approval. Mercedes-Benz approvals are funny that way. As a hint, the way you phrase it isn’t how it’s written on the sheet. If it is different on the container, post a picture please.

You can come back when it is on the list and prove us wrong.

MB is good at updating that list with newly approved oils. Been doing it for decades. You'd think they forgot to include JTP, so we can discuss it on BITOG?

It meets all requirements of Mercedes Benz, BMW, VW and Porsche and costs only $23.48 at Walmart.

I currently use Pennzoil 0w40 Euro mixed with Pennzoil 5w40 Euro oil. It's the best out there. I use Quaker State 5w40 Euro to top off the oil at times. I'll likely use Valvoline 5w40 Euro in the spring when I need an oil change to switch up things. JTP 5w40 Euro looks legitimate, so I'd consider using it, too, as part of the rotation.

I've considered Castrol, but I chose Pennzoil in my last two oil changes.

It's all in the wording. Note the period between the API stuff and then just a list of Euro specs.

They do not have product data sheets on their site that I can see, that get into things like approvals:

I appreciate the humor. I don’t think I told anyone to mind their own business though. My original question was about whether or not others had any interaction with the brand or not. It was not about whether I should use it… A lot of what I got back was silly “it’ll tank your engine “ stuff even though they themselves knew nothing about the oil or brand. To be fair, there was some good points mixed in too.
