Anyone using JTP oils?

it would be good if the oil blenders/ manufactures were more transparent on the base oils they use, along with better informative specs of their product, instead of just guessing what's in it.every one would be more interested in the product sold for their hard-earned vehicle. Reputation of the engine oil manufacture/blender can or cannot mean anything without proper information to the public.

Of course that’s the one of the values of approvals, certifications and licenses. With these you have proven real world performance for their “hard earned” vehicle.

Yeah I never had any intention on promoting the brand. Just saying they’re reputable and not some fly by night working out of their garage selling gutter oil

Hi all - just came across this thread as Amazon recommended "JTP" oil to me. I was curious what this actually was and Google lead me to this thread. As it is only a month or so old I think I'll not start fresh.

Wanted to point something out - their website lists this address:

Address
4255 S. Buckley Road 168
Aurora, CO 80013

And well that is a UPS Store...

The images online show Made in USA on the bottles and they do say "Manufactured for "Jamison Transportation".

I had wondered if we were starting to see the first(?) of an influx of Chinese oils on Amazon.

To be fair to this company it may simply be a small business who struck a deal to label oil manufactured by another large provider in the US. Who actually makes the oil is something I could not find.

Anyway just thought I'd share that. I am not particularly interested in this oil just that it seemed odd and made me feel like an STP knockoff from overseas which lead me to look into it some.

Sorry but I'm with many of the other posters. How does one find such a product in a sea of reliable products? especially being a member of a forum dedicated to oil?

Rhetorical question, I'm just impressed, I guess.

It meets all requirements of Mercedes Benz, BMW, VW and Porsche and costs only $23.48 at Walmart.
And yet it's not on the Mercedes approved list:
