Anyone used Napa Ceramic pads ?

Gotta do brakes on my uncles Windstar tomorrow, and my Pads of choice (Carquest Blue, Raybestos PG Ceramic, or Wagner Thermoquiet) are not available locally. I have to get the job done tomorrow as they are grinding badly. I can't order from rockauto, as I won't have them in time.
Napa is close, so I think I'll be using them for pads and rotors.

Anyone had experience with their Adaptive One (Satisfied), or Ultra Premium (Akebono) lines ?

Not sure which pad to buy. They are almost the same price, and are both in stock. Which would you choose ?

If I had to not use OEM, Napa would be one of my 1st choices...

Akebono Ceramic is a very good pad, if Ultra Premium is Akebono or made by Akebono then that is my choice.

Yes! I tried Napa ceramic pads on our 2000 VW Beetle. They work great - a lot less dust than stock and no squeaking.

They stop A-OK too. Though I haven't "put them to the ultimate test" of canyon driving, they have proven fine otherwise.

Don't hesistate to buy any parts or recieve services from Napa Auto Parts. Napa always meet or exceeds the manufactureers oem specifications which AutoZone or O'Reilly does not come very close at all with their parts or services.

T-Bone, Which pads did you use ? The Ultra Premium, or the Adaptive-One ?

I used the Napa Adaptive-One ceramic pads with great results.

As a side benefit, they were the coolest looking pads I've ever used.

No noise, almost no dust... stellar stopping power. Big fan.

The MSDS for the ADO ceramic pads for my car lists the supplier as Satisfied Brake Products of Cornwall, Ontario.

AZ pads are mfgr's by Morse, they're pretty high quality, but I have to admit, not all of them are that good, they like are OK if that.
Go with the Napa pads

I went with the Napa Adaptive One pads, and the basic rotors (Raybestos Profesional Grade).
I'm very pleased with the results.

How much were the pads and rotors from NAPA?

Well, I haven't paid retail for autoparts in years.
The pads were $54, and the rotors were $32 each.
I get my dealer discount.

I have Napa ceramics on my Cherokee. Several years now, no complaints other than they seem to dust more than I expected.

I've had good luck with both Satisfied & Akebono ceramic pads...adequate stopping power, very little dust.

I like the Akebono ceramic pads too -- I got tired of brake dust on alloy wheels, and the Akebonos do not generate any brake dust.

It is good to know that NAPA's Ultra Premium ceramic pad is made by Akebono. Even if they are a little more, they are worth it.
