TMobile offers a good plan for those age 55+ and I can save on what I pay to Verizon. Can anyone tell me anything good or bad about TMobile?

I have TMobile and I like it. 4 lines for $100 (plus taxes/fees about $20).

Coverage is not as good as Verizon in some rural areas but getting better.

I just picked up a new phone to utilize TM's 5G network. 5G works quite well.

About 2 months ago, one of my neighbors dropped VERIZON and went with TM. She's now back with VERIZON.
I too have VERIZON. I can go into the deepest, darkest swamps here in La. and never lose my signal.

Switched back in Oct/Nov timeframe. saving about 20/mo and have 5G. There are some spots I’ve noticed where I’m roaming vs was on VZW network before and a small couple spots where I have no service at all but I will say it’s been 90-95% as good coverage so far at 20-30% savings.

I have Mint Mobile which uses T-Mobile's towers. I have no complaints with the service. I live in a fairly rural area in Kentucky and I don't notice myself losing signal any more than I did with Verizon near where I live and work. So for my usage it's great and saves me a ton of money.

Last month I took a trip to Colorado and I can confidently say that T-Mobile is not the best in desolate areas, like those long stretches of interstate between towns in central/western Kansas. My wife's phone uses AT&T towers, and she had service in a lot of remote places that I didn't. But for the amount of money I'm saving, I can certainly live with it, and I think T-Mobile service overall is improving quickly.

I have both. Work is Verizon, personal is T-Mobil. Verizon has slightly better service but not good enough to justify the cost. T-Mobile has a few dead zones where Verizon works fine in my area. Can’t have it all I guess.

If you only need one phone you may want to look at Goggle Fi. If you need a family plan there are better options.

I had Verizon for years and switched to Google Fi and like it.

I’m on simple mobile running off T-Mobile network. It’s not a bad network depending where you located. So far the network has been reliable.

lots of options for sure + after searching + reading about MVNO's i choose AirVoice + since i rarely need cell service i got pay-as-you go $10 for 90 days .10 per min pay for data i rarely need as you go!! other options as well + pretty quick customer service with a real person to set your APN's up, so far just like ATT go phone but with the option for data not available cheeply on ATT. many like RedPocket especially on E-bay but no cheep ATT yearly cards left, some for Verizon though, it depends on how you use your phone what will work the best for less $$$$$. would have stayed ATT but my new cheep moto E offered no data unless spending more than i needed IMO. never new about MVNO's + thanks to this great forum i learned about them!!

We just made the switch from Verizon to TMobile 55+. Saved a ton of money and get unlimited data. I am also going to switch to their home internet when it comes to our area. I am very happy and the customer service has been A+

If you have Comcast, look into Xfinity Mobile. It's $15 a gig or $45 for unlimited. They use the same Verizon towers. Everyone I know with T Mobile tends to have horrible reception. Depends on the area though.

I'm a long haul truck driver, so I drive all over the US and Canada. I had Verizon in the past, then switched to T-Mobile for the price. Since I mostly drive on the interstates I thought it wouldn't make much difference. After a few months I went back to Verizon. It wasn't because of dead spots, it was because of dropped calls. Sitting still they were wonderful. But driving, every 15 min or so the call would drop. Then I would call again and talk for other 15 min or so. It seemed like every time they had issues switching from tower to tower. It got old after a while. With Verizon I hardly ever drop a call. Interestingly enough, T-Mobile had better signal in Canada than in the US.

This was a couple of years ago, so it could have changed since then.

You can talk about price all you want, and everyone else's experience, but it only matters if you can get decent coverage in the areas where you need it. Best to ask around local in the area that you will use it IMO.

Check with your friends locally that have TM and see how they are doing.
TM is very sporadic in terms of coverage and quality.
It is good in some area and it is bad in some area.
I am not sure if they get better ever since the merge with Sprint.
