Anyone use an inverse oiler???

Just mix the MM with your fuel - much simpler.
BTW, we used a trickle lubricator to meter MM oil for the Judson supercharger on a VW in the early 70s.

Thanks 04SpecV,

Now, just need to find out where MMO is readily available. Any major chains carry it or is it special order? My Ampco units are on the way.

Walmart has MMO the cheapest for around 3$ a quart. Most auto parts stores carry it also.

I just got one on ebay

Every retailer that I'm aware of sells MMO. I don't think I've seen a parts store or discount dept store that didn't have it. Wally World has the market cornered on price, I believe ..and one of the few to carry it in gallons.

A few times a year, Auto Barn runs MMO on sale for $1.99/qt. I load up on it then.

Maybe but are there any with a decent size(32oz) capacity?

I bought it directly thru MMO company several years ago. Not sure if they have a website, but direct thru the company was the only way to get one when I bought mine.

Thanks TallPaul:

I just went to the link, however:
If I remember correctly they wanted about 15 DPM at an idle, not sure why that link is calling for 2 DPM. Mines been set (15dpm) at idle for years. Another way to calibrate it, but it takes a lot longer is to set it so you use about a quart every 700-1000 miles. My 15 dpm gets me in that ballpark.

Yes, and there is a vacuum issue with Diesel engines that doesn't allow an inverse oiler to work properly.

I would never introduce any oil related product into the intake of any diesel engine (also looking at scrubbing the oil from my crankcase breather).

Moreys (a bit like lucas) have their "power booster", which I have used in the past to add UCL to my LPG fuelled vehicles.

They expressly warn against using the PCV (for whatever reason, I don't know) I made a "T piece", which was a piece of 1/2" brass tube that I inserted in the PCV, with a small (1/8"?) "T" running half way through the former, acting like a shear effect diffuser (I hoped)

The only issue with diesel's is the fact they don't make any vacuum at all. The only way they do for brakes and emission controls is by a vacumm pump. I don't know how you integrate it but it could be possible.

Ampco emailed me saying they have a few ST100's that they are selling for $30 plus shipping. They have a few paint scratches, so they lowered the price. Got mine ordered.
