Anyone up for an Orphan light trading post?

I'm not even sure if it's allowed but it might be a way to clean up the orphans I'm sure we've all ended up with over the years.

I have several of the square headlights from 81-87 Chevy trucks I would like to get rid of.

I'd be in. I've got all kinds of bulbs and even a D2R HID bulb that needs a home.

Now that you mention it. I've got a number of orphan oil filters, air filters and other maintenance parts for cars I have sold. Maybe an "Orphan Auto Parts" trading post would make sense.

That was fast. Maybe someone smart can figure out a format where we can list stuff we have extra. I've got tons of lighting, filters and other stuff like that.

Maybe a thread in the "Items For Sale" category with the heading "Maintenance Parts Trading Post" or similar.

I imagine myself listing specific extra filters, spark plugs, bulbs etc (and their applications) and offering to trade them for similar types of maintenance parts to fit the cars in my signature. That could work.

Since this is the lighting section I imagine filters and such would be a little OT. I think if we had two columns one with "stuff I have" and one "stuff I'd like" it might work. And, if no one posted comments abpout stuff they used to have or whatever. It would need to be a sticky too and that takes a mod. I've got so much lighting stuff it would be fun to see how it would work.

Filters and such wouldn't be off topic in the "Items for Sale" category though...where I had suggested it go. Lighting could just be one of many things available.
