I recently decided to buy some Super Greens I seen at Walmart....it's made by Country Farms. It says it contains 50 Organic Super Foods. I've been taking it for about 2 weeks now and have NOT noticed any difference. Do I need to take it longer or buy a different brand ? Have you noticed a difference from taking Super Foods?

I don't. Not that I buy anything branded as superfood though. I have eaten foods with the reputation of being such and cannot say I feel like I am doing so much better than awhile back. What my aim is for is to do better on the next blood test at the doctors with raising my HDL cholesterol of lowering my BP. I'd like to get off some of the meds I am taking for those two factors. I will find out next month if my goals are being met.

Algae, wheat grass, barley grass, etc.

I take my green magma in the morning, mainly due to having a bad gut.

Other than this what does your daily diet consist
1 Green leafy vegetables this should be a major part of a diet
2 lean protein
3 healthy fats yes eggs included
4 good carbohydrates ( brown or black rice, sweet potatoes)

Haven't read anything about taking those for optimal health.

Nothing like the real thing to get your greens like spinach and kale. If you don't want them as part of a salad you can get them from a smoothie which is kind of like a healthy shake.

2 cups spinach packed
1 banana
1 cup of almond milk or regular milk
1 cup ice
1 peeled orange - quartered

Put everything in a blender and enjoy. Just got your fruits and veggies in sweet smoothie shake. I remember having a few of these in the evening and was so full of energy I couldn't sleep. Feel free to change the above recipe around to what you have in the house. Google search for different smoothie recipes.

eat Whole Foods and skip the superfoods. I don't think humans can digest wheatgrass.

I take spirulina and chlorella, which are basically along the same lines. Concentrated chlorophyll that works on days I don't eat enough vegetables.

I've started only eating whole foods and completely cut out all sugars incl. fruit, rice, pasta. Most heavy starch foods incl potatoes, sweet potatoes etc.
Rutabaga is a great alternative!

Only Veggies and protein in their whole form (superfoods additive with spirulina and chlorella as well in the veggie smoothies).
For a "treat" I'll have some muffins made with buckwheat grouts and no sugar or artificial sweeteners.

Gotta tell ya, my breath has never been better, thoughts are clearer (no fogginess), no mood swings (full to hungry), and I'm down to a healthy152.

Best thing I ever did for my diet in years! Sure, it seems boring, but the fitness changes, clarity and energy are worth it!

SUPER FOOD? You mean a good steak or slab of ribs on the charcoal grill coupled with an ice cold beer and a good cigar?

The professional reviews of this product seem to indicate that there's 6 or 7 main ingredients you're getting and 41 or 42 ingredients that you're getting in trace amounts. If that's the case, and you're paying $50+/month for it...then I'd probably want to shop around if I was interested in taking this kind of product.

Someone here mentioned Green Magma which is just barley grass juice in powdered form and IMO is an excellent product. I'm not sure that just taking Green Magma which is
specially processed barley grass juice w/ complete enzymes and a great nutritional profile wouldn't give you more benefit that some multi-ingredient product that offers a zillion Superfoods but gives you a less than optimal mix of ingredients that you're paying top dollar for...Unfortunately, it's hard to tell much because most of these products don't go into detail about their individual ingredient levels but will lump them together in categories on the label. You have to research them and know what you're buying....

I've had issues with insufficient stomach acid and related gut issues - both ACV and Green Magma seemed to help a lot but it's been a few years since I've taken them.

Super-Food is just a marketing term and means whatever the marketer wants you to believe it means. If they cram 50 different "Super-Foods" into a capsule, imagine how much of each it contains. Total nonsense.

Nature is pretty good about designing foods that when properly combined and consumed, give you optimal health. It's not likely scientists are going to do something better by sticking a conglomeration of things into a bottle.

My recommendation would be like what Lolvoguy has done. Start by shifting to a natural whole/raw foods diet. Cut out the junk food items one at a time until all that excess sugar, fried foods, white flour, white bread, white pasta, less red meats, processed dairy milk/cheese....is all gone from your diet. After a few months of that if you haven't lost considerable weight and feel great, then you're doing something wrong. If you do this right you will transform yourself. And at that point if you want to try to SuperFoods to reach the next level (if there is one) then go at it. If you can't follow the discipline of a healthy whole foods diet, don't expect you'll find a miracle in a SuperFoods bottle or package.

Real SuperGreens? Spinach, Avocado, Kale, Romaine/Red Leaf Lettuce, Chard, Collard Greens, Broccoli, Astragalus, Parsley, Celery, peas, green beans....as nature intended with all the fiber, moisture, and nutrients in the right percentages. Those are about as superfood as you can get...and probably cheaper than buying a bottle of "stuff." There are also Superfoods that are orange/red/purple. Try them all for the best benefit.

My super food has all the grains I need.
It's call Evan Williams Bourbon.
And I feel great after taking a sufficient dose.
Saturday night is Bourbon superfood night.
The other 6 nights are THC edibles. 5 MG is just right.

I don't buy this kind of BS. Superfoods are in your common grocery store.....look in the produce aisle first....eat only whole natural foods.

The problem is potency. There are a lot of wasted ingredients there. They are no doubt extracted in a manner that is not the best. Digestive enzymes are vital.

The product I take is absolute top tier, and it definitely works. FWIW, it is called VitaMineralGreen. Key superfoods must be there in effective dosages.
Holy basil, moringa, sea vegetables, nettle, these are important parts of the array.

There should be not too many different ingredients, but the most beneficial.

Insulin resistance should be a main focus.

You get what you pay for.
