Anyone still use bar soap?

What bar soap is this?
Mrs. Kira likes Yardly bars from the supermarket.
Irish Spring has been mentioned twice....doubtless due to the tingly feeling it provides. It does a great job cutting sunscreen off your bod in Summertime.

However, if anyone wants a thorough soap experience, try Fa brand soaps from Germany. They have bar soap, shower gels and hand soap. Several odors and the stuff gets the old deodorant out of your pits. It works.
What is sunscreen?

Irish Spring, old habit, but works well.

I gave up on using Head and Shoulders on my hair once I realized... I was pretty bald. I trim my hair short and found that Irish Spring works good enough on the beard and what's left around the perimeter of my head. I think it might cut through greasy hair better than H&S actually. I'd say, I have one less bottle of stuff in the shower... but I'm pretty sure the missus simply added something else for me to knock over.

Well, like dissolves like in many cases - do a nasty U-joint - reach for WD40 before the soap … 🧼
Another surprise cleaner is baby oil - have used it on aluminum rims
No WD40 pre cleaner for me. The stuff works great. My wifes hairdresser's husband run his own mechanic shop, and loves it. Marketing has been an issue though.

Copy on baby oil.

I suppose the active ingredient is oil, thus diluting the nasty oil, and allowing it to wash away. But baby oil dont smell pretty, hers does.

I think see sells it for $6 bucks a bar. Expensive but nice.

I use Go Jo or Dawn when I'm really dirty.
Otherwise Irish Springs or whatever was on sale.
Tried the body wash, seems like I needed half the bottle.
Always have Dawn at my two outdoor sinks … hard to beat …
My current hand cleaner feels like half beach sand … 😳

When installing copper pipe all day long, your hands turn green. On a jobsite, I find some sand, and mix with dawn to remove the green nastiness from my hands.

I've used Irish Spring for decades, and have never noticed this. Now you have me curious. Anyone else notice this?

I like the gold bar Dial or beige Safeguard anti bacterial soaps. Now the wife just brought home a bag full of products for her and ME from Bath & Body works. She got me a bunch of those bath/face/hair scented soaps and even some beard oil. :) She loves those shops and the house is always full of different hand soap pump bottles and candles at kitchen sink and in all the bathrooms.

Any old timers remember the Lifebuoy radio commercials from back in the early 1950s This was before the era when deodorants were in widespread use, and Lifebuoy advertised that it prevented body odor. The commercial included a Fog Horn type sound effect that went "Bee Ohhh"

I use Irish Spring 5 in 1 or Suave Men 3 in 1 liquid soap. I prefer my bath soap storage to be less messy and pube free. ;)🍻

Before I went to liquid soap full-time, it was Irish Spring bars every time.
