Anyone remember continuous hand drying towels in public restrooms?

Where I live, they still have them but it's a smaller version and in each stall. Wait... those are for drying hands?
I believe a "linen service" would send a person to pick up the used rolls, load in the new roll and take the used roll to their laundry. Not sure how many rolls they would leave the customer.
