Anyone recognize this tool? Not sure where I got it.

Those are usually used to remove tires from bikes. you hook the spoon shaped edge under the tire lip, lever it up over the rim in one spot. The slotted end is then hooked to a spoke to hold it in place.

usually they come several to a pack so you can then use a few in key spots around a wheel until you get enough in so you can then get the tire off.

I was thinking it looked a bit like a tire spoon, smaller than I remember, though, because mine were for motorcycles.

Yes, that is an exact match. Thank you.

@amblerman is right when he said you should have more than one. Bicycle tire removal tools usually come in a set of 3. The metal ones, like the one you have, are getting less common. Most are made out of plastic these days. But I still prefer the metal ones.

If I had a dime for every flat I have changed on road bikes. All of my tire levers are plastic., which won't scratch the wheels.

I had that problem the first time I did a tire, but I quickly learned that only two spoons should be clipped to the spokes. The other one can be inserted and then dragged around the rim to lift the sidewall all around. No more pinched fingers!
Mine don't clip to the spokes so it's a fuddly act of keeping them under a spoke, using a knee, using both hands, and not having a third hand handy.
It's not really that bad. I still tend to pinch fingers or get a cut no matter what I work on though. The other day I cut myself opening a screw top bottle of cheap wine.

Once the tool was identified I realized it had come from a drawer of belongings of my wife’s.

I think I have some plastic bicycle spoons hidden away somewhere.

Knees too worn out to ride anymore, and I live out in the sticks on graveled roads.
