Anyone know the oil flow requirements for a Honda 3.5 V6?

I'm trying to figure out the gallons per minute flow rate Honda requires in an oil filter for the 3.5 V6. Thank you for the help!

Hi Chris, I'm not sure it matters in regards to an oil filter. Oil pump is positive displacement. Oil Filter may have a slight DP across it, but typically an oil filter isn't even remotely the "choke" point of resistance.

oil pump displacement * RPM * any gear ratio between crank and pump shaft * 0.95 (rough volumetric efficiency)

It wouldn’t surprise me if it’s 8-10 at a measly 3000 rpms.

Actually Honda makes a filter that apparently flows just fine, 15400-PLM-A02, also known as the "Fram in a blue can" ,been using them for years, never a problem.
